12/11/2023 0 Comments 1999 ducati supersport 750![]() ![]() The 750 went back together using the stock parts from the 900 gas tank, rear fender hugger, seat cowling, mufflers (ceramic coated black), front rotors, rear shock, rear sets and the original parts that came with the bike - wheels and fairings. After getting it registered, the first thing I did was remove all of the cool parts for my 900SSie SL project bike. Long story short, the Ducati made its way back to SoCal safely. It didn't take much imagination to create a side trip to Denver for the Ducati. He was going to lend me his enclosed trailer to do this. ![]() Luckily, I had 2 other bikes to pick up at my business partner's shop near Albuquerque. Now, I had to figure out how to pick up the bike. I corresponded with the owner and confirmed the deal. All this for $3,000! Additionally, the bike came with the original half-fairing and wheels. Marvic magnesium wheels, Ohlins shock, ETI Kevlar 'Sprint" gas tank, Woodcraft rear sets, full-floating stainless rotors, Sharkskinz bodywork with good paint and carbon exhaust cans. The intriquing thing about the bike was all of the expensive performance parts on it. It was in Denver, CO which is about 1,200 miles from SoCal where I am.
